Looking to expand your skills? Yubadocs Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team of professionals. Must be professional and responsible, able to multi-task, exercise good judgement, be positive and a team player. Position is 10 hour shifts with some weekends. We are open 7 days a week including holidays. We offer a comprehensive benefit package and competitive wages. Submit your qualifications for immediate consideration. Example of some job duties:

• For every patient, every visit, update the following in the EMR:
• CC: Chief complaint. If multiple issues, list the most urgent one and explain that multiple complaints often require multiple visits
• Allergies to medication
• Current medications
• Past medical history
• Surgical history
• Social history
• Tobacco/Alcohol
• Substance abuse
• If the patient is here to discuss labs, diagnostic test results, or consults, find out the specifics and list that as CC. Make sure the results or reports are on the clipboard or in the digital chart.
• Do all vital signs according to Yubadocs policy
• Set up rooms appropriately for presenting complaint or needed procedure (slit lamp for eye problems, laceration set up for lacerations, for example).
• Telephone skills, both operational & etiquette
• Notify provider when first patient of the day is ready
• Assist providers with patient care, including procedures
• Chart everything you do, with initials in the digital chart and on any associated paperwork
• Competent in computer skill specific to Yubadocs ie:
• Med Trainer

• Quest

• Give IM, SQ, intradermal injections

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
