THIS IS A PER DIEM POSITION. Great for adding some extra weekly income with a semi flexible schedule.The Certified Home Health Aide - CHHA provides personal care services to the terminally ill patient and performs related tasks in the patient/family place of residence in accordance with the plan of treatment as assigned by the Director of Patient Care Services.
Responsibilities and Duties
. Proficient in providing personal care activities
. Observes patient status and appropriately identifies what must be reported to the primary RN
. Communicates accurately and appropriately with staff and patients
. Adheres to legal and safety standards
. Documentation completed according to agency policy
. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, Safety and Infection Control Responsibilities
Qualifications and Skills
. One year of patient care experience in a skilled nursing, acute care, home health setting required
. Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) with proof of certification in California
. Must have current CPR certification
. Ability to read, write and carry out directions
. Home health experience preferred
. Must have current California Driver's License and auto liability insurance
. Must have current Certified Home Health Aide certification within the State.
