We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cerner Millennium PowerChart Analyst/Consultant to join our healthcare organization. As a member of the Information Technology (IT) team, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of the Cerner Millennium PowerChart module. You will collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and IT professionals to optimize clinical workflows, enhance patient care delivery, and support efficient documentation and decision-making using the Cerner Millennium system.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize the Cerner Millennium PowerChart module to meet the specific needs of our healthcare organization, including clinical documentation templates, order sets, decision support rules, and clinical workflows.
• Collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and IT teams to assess and streamline clinical workflows, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and patient safety.
• Provide expert guidance and support to end-users, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, in the effective use of the Cerner Millennium PowerChart module.
• Participate in system testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities to ensure the integrity and functionality of the Cerner Millennium PowerChart module.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Cerner Millennium PowerChart with other clinical systems and modules, ensuring seamless information flow and interoperability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to clinical documentation, order entry, and decision support systems, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
• Conduct training sessions and develop educational materials to promote user adoption and proficiency in using the Cerner Millennium PowerChart module.
• Collaborate with clinical and IT stakeholders to assess system performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement enhancements.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely support for system-related issues and emergencies.

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of X years of experience working with Cerner Millennium PowerChart, including system configuration, support, and optimization.
• Cerner Millennium Certification in PowerChart or relevant modules is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and documentation processes in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing Cerner Millennium PowerChart to meet the unique needs of healthcare organizations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and IT professionals.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex clinical workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to clinical documentation and order entry (e.g., HIPAA, Meaningful Use criteria).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
