As a Concrete Laborer, you play an integral role in creating the quality apartments for our residents to call home for years to come. You will work with our team in new construction, building apartments from the ground up. To be successful in this role you must be reliable, detail oriented, and communicate effectively. Exceptional candidates are those who are driven, love to work hard alongside their team, have excellent leadership skills, and are dedicated to teaching others.

Requirements

• Motivated to learn concrete
• Able to lift 50+ pounds on a daily basis
• Able to understand direction and retain information
• Operate trowel, float, screed, shovel, and rake
• Only about 20% of this role is going to be Finishing. The other 80% is a variety of footings, poured walls, CMU, stamped patios, poll decks, curbs, etc.
• 6 months of experience as a concrete laborer

General

• Operate and care for construction equipment, tools, and machines.
• Assist equipment operator, and other skilled labor when necessary
• Ensure team has secured jobsite, tools and materials at end of each day.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
  

Other Requirements

• A Can-do attitude
• Must pass criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with proper insurance
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
