TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and driven CEI professional to develop and lead our highway construction management/inspection business in Tennessee.

This is a tremendous opportunity for the motivated seller/doer with a strategic vision to drive our business development goals into a robust construction services practice!

The person in this role will have both business development and project execution responsibilities, which will include, but not be limited to:

• Conduct extensive market research and use a variety of lead generating techniques to identify leads, leverage relationships, and build new ones
• Set goals, identify opportunities, and develop winning strategies for business and revenue growth

• Develop quotes and proposals for prospective clients
• Attend conferences and industry events
• Represent TRC with client, public and regulatory agencies
• Actively manage assigned project management activities (project scope, schedule, budget and quality management)
• Perform technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specifications and plan preparation.
• Overall management direction of major transportation projects providing construction services to public transportation agencies, airports, public infrastructure agencies, transit and rail systems and toll authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET accredited university
• Tennessee PE license
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience winning and executing construction services at an engineering/construction services firm
• Expert knowledge of prospecting and lead generation
• Track record of achievement in a targeted/performance-based role
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• Proven relationship builder with excellent negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, dedicated, and results-oriented professional style with a strong ability to work independently
• Excellent attention to detail, provides accurate and high quality design
• Able to lead and work collaboratively within a design team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Reporting to: This position will work within our Civil/Transportation group under the direction of the Transportation Director.
