Position: Ready Mixed Concrete Truck Driver

*HOME EVERY NIGHT*LOCAL HAULS ONLY* Schedule must be flexible*

Responsibilities

• Safety
• Delivery of Ready Mixed Concrete
• Communicates effectively with customers and dispatch in a variety of stressful situations while representing the company in a professional manner.
• Operates a ready mix concrete truck while maintaining personal safety, your co-workers’ safety as well as the public’s safety.
• Keep truck in premium operating condition by performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and related equipment for safe operation.
• Responsible for making normal adjustments to the concrete upon arriving onsite.
• Read and understand delivery tickets, especially with regard to delivery location and types and quantities of material to be delivered.
• Keep truck clean inside and outside by adhering to all cleaning procedures.
• Adhere to all Safety Regulations, Company policies as well as Federal, State, and Local laws.

Requirements

• Valid VA CDL Class A or B with current DOT Medical Certificate.
• Good Driving Record (Zero or Positive points)
• Good attendance and punctuality a must.
• Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, and frequently lift chutes.
