At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a Driver located in Vacaville, CA, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

A driver is responsible for delivering Cosentino Products safely and efficiently to customers and warehouses. Those performing this job usually work alone and receive direction from Supervisors, Dispatchers, Warehouse Managers and in some cases Transportation Managers.

To succeed as a driver with us you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to working safely, and passionate about satisfying clients.

Our drivers are expected to work on two different fronts:
Delivering

• Responsible for the distribution/collection of material to/from clients as required.
• Ensure that the truck follows the required maintenance by DOT regulations and always travel with the necessary documentation.
• Assist in moving material in warehouse with forklift and/or overhead crane.
• Ensure that the truck follows the required maintenance by DOT regulations and always travel with the necessary documentation.
• Position blocks and ties, straps/chains, and binders for cargo securement.

Administration

• Maintain driver’s logbook
• Accurate accounting of all freights delivered and/or picked up
• Manage execution of all paperwork with special emphasis on inspections and hours of service required
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Required:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
• Class B Driver’s License (3-5 years) with a clean driving history
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (crane, overhead crane, forklift, etc.)
• Experience & proficiency with DOT Cargo Securement/Load Regulations

EDUCATION
Required:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Air Break Endorsement required

EDUCATION

• Air Brake Endorsement
• No Manual Transmission Restriction

SKILLS
Required:

• Electronic Log Device (GEOTAB)
• Cargo Securement experience
• Experience managing email (Microsoft Outlook)
• Ability to carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
