The Catering Events Manager is the point of contact between clients and the David Burke Hospitality Management team.

This position is responsible for ensuring events have a seamless turn-over from sales to service. You role and execution will drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout the guests experience. Your knowledge of the property, its grounds, products, and services will serve important to the guest experience. In addition to maintaining our vision by adhering to our values, this position must provide the highest level of service to our guests in all sales related functions while maximizing efficiencies and administrative support to the management teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that events as well as the event documentation progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy
  • Gather non-contract catering or meeting space information needed from client (e.g., food allergies, host arrival times, special requests)
  • Issue weekly Banquet Event Orders (BEO) to the operations team paying attention to detail, ensuring the information accurately reflects what has been requested by the client.
  • Partake in responding to leads that will drive event business revenue suited for operation
  • Coordinate daily operation of event set-ups and service
  • Ensure all details of BEO’s/event contracts are delivered and guests are satisfied
  • Ensure proper payment is complete at the end of each event, follow SOPs accordingly
  • Active leader and participation in weekly BEO meetings
  • Event Waitstaff training and development
  • Ensure services meet client expectations
  • Completion of event pull sheets and timelines as needed
  • Work with Executive Chef to ensure all details are executed and up to standard
  • Uphold all standards set forth by David Burke Hospitality Management
  • Greet event clients upon arrival
  • Schedule and assist in execution of site visits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
