The Casino Host's foremost role is to act as the primary growth engine for VIP marketing, owning outbound sales efforts to a broad range of Maverick's guests.

In this role you will:

• Develop and maintain coded players through direct mail, email, telemarketing, social media platforms and leverage company’s existing databases.
• Actively participate in telephone solicitation in order to coordinate personalized direct communications for assigned territories.
• Work to utilize company resources including stadium suites, experiential events, engagement/participation marketing, cross-property selling opportunities, and existing customers to actively recruit VIP players.
• Cultivate internal relationships to ensure seamless on-property execution by operational teams and proactively mitigate any potential service issues.
• Fully comply with all applicable rules, regulations, laws & policies, and conduct themselves with the highest level of integrity and honesty.
• Respond to and consistently meet the needs of clients.
• Support and cultivate new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions.
• Identify ways to increase efficiencies or improve products and services.
• Clearly communicate programs/services to necessary stakeholders, seek their support and keep them informed of changes that may impact business.
• Prepare project plans that aid in moving projects forward.
• Maintain knowledge of all happenings on-property and in market.
• Keep track of existing products/services and/or progress on new initiatives.
• Develop skills to handle increasingly complex matters.
• Comply with and uphold company expectations including code of commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.
• Politely give consistent, timely and accurate information and find the answer when unsure.
• Project warmth and enthusiasm in person and on the phone; build rapport to strengthen relationships and encourage trials as well as repeat visitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous Sales experience and knowledge that includes:

• Working knowledge of State of Washington Gambling regulations and rules.
• 1 to 3 years' experience in relationship-based professional sales role required; (experience with Gaming/Casino brands preferred).
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
• Must be proficient with customer Point-of-Service systems.
• Ability to think independently and make decisions to maximize customer service experience and program profitability.
• Ability to efficiently manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have a systematic and process-oriented mindset to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to travel to regional Maverick properties.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific assigned tasks.
• Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas required.
• Must be able to frequently move freely about, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via mouse & keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, etc.
• Withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods, prolonged standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restriction.
