As a Cage Cashier you will control bankrolls and coordinate service, inviting guests in for urban adventures on our casino floor. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Cash personal checks and travelers checks for currency.
- Assist customers with various cash transactions.
- Verify cash revenue from various departments.
- Verify all Cage Cashier turn-ins and distributes cash as necessary to all departments.
- Responsible for bankroll accountability.
- Assist in completing guest credit applications.
- Process front money deposits/withdrawals.
- Process incoming wire transfers for our guests.
- Assists training new employees on all cage procedures.
- Prepare table fills/credits, pays all types of paid-outs.
- Exercise discretion, judgment and remain confidential with sensitive materials or projects.
- Redeem foreign currency, computing accurate exchange rates for various currency received.
- Process marker buy-back transactions, providing quality service to each guest.
- Has knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and applicable regulations, as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
- Other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- At least one year experience in casino cage operations or banking.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
- At least 21 years of age.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Have at least three years of Casino Cage cashiering experience.

- Work is performed in casino operational environment.
- Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
- Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, employees and guests is necessary.
- Requires prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
- Prolonged telephone usage.
- Bending and reaching.
- Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 10 lbs.
- Eye/hand coordination.
- Use of standard office equipment.
- Basic math.
- Ability to push and/or pull item up to 5 lbs.
- Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
- Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
