We are seeking a carpenter / carpenter's apprentice for immediate start. To be considered, please submit your application here or call/text Scott Fagan at 254-654-4768. Starting pay for qualified candidates will be based on experience, but at minimum starts at $26/hr.
Uses carpenter's hand tools and power tools for building finish installs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Possesses ability to read blue prints & other construction documents
• Installs various finishes in a professional manner
• Takes pride in work and quality that will be turned over to end-user
• Participate in labor, clean-up, light carpentry, rough carpentry, & punch work items
• Must be willing to participate in jobsite clean-up
• Exercise initiative or, as required, perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 5 years of related work experience required
• Reliable transportation
• Understands/acknowledges safety standards required on a jobsite, meeting minimum OSHA regulations
• Reliable & strong work ethic

Physical Requirements
Workers should be able to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds and ladders; reach for, handle, and manipulate objects and materials; lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, and see well (either naturally or with correction)
Work Environment
Standard project site environment that may include machinery, parts, and chemicals. This job is performed under conditions that expose to risk of injury and/or illness. May require protective gear/PPE, which will be supplied by MW Builders on the first day of work.
