As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of the Peninsula, you’ll build relationships, improve the quality of life and serve the elderly in need of love and care. Your goal will be able to help individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their simple functions; meal prep, light housekeeping, ADLs, provide transportation to doctors appointments, social interactions.

Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring joy into the lives of the clients you work with and help them feel encouraged, involved and loved.

A day in the Life of a First Light Home Care Caregiver:

· Providing companionship and engage in conversation

· Preparing and serving meals

· Help with bathing and grooming

· Light housekeeping and laundry

· Shopping, errands and transportation

· Other duties as assigned

You are a great fit for this role if you have:

· Previous care giving experience (one year preferred)

· A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others

· A commitment to being present and providing quality care

· Empathy, patience, creative, kindness and respect

· Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written

· Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
