Encore ADHC is hiring for a full-time Caregiver in Lexington. Encore is temporarily offering an extra $5.00 essential worker pay to all eligible employees. Until December 2022, the starting pay rate for caregivers is between $18.00-$20.00 hourly. After December 2022, the pay rate for caregivers will return to the original $13.00-$15.00 hourly rate. Caregivers assist individuals who have difficulty performing basic day-to-day activities, for example, the elderly, disabled persons, or people suffering from chronic or mental health disorders. Encore ADHC Caregivers participate in the Attendant Care Program of Medicaid to allow services to be provided to clients in an in-home setting. No experience is required as we provide all the necessary training to be successful in this position. Encore is currently offering a $500 sign-on bonus for eligible employees. Employees will be awarded 50% of the bonus after 14 days, the remaining bonus will be awarded after the 3-month probationary period.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Caregiver

· Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers.

· Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

· Provide companionship

· Perform light housekeeping tasks

· Meal preparation and medication reminders

Skills and Qualifications of a Caregiver

· An understanding of different clients’ needs

· Communication skills are necessary to interact with clients and their families

· Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job
