Responsibilities
- Perform advanced procedures consistent with privileges and competency validation, including minor suturing, complex wound management, line and tube placements and removals
- Participate in rounds, APN council meeting, faculty meetins, unit meetings, and M&M presentations
- Maintain necessary contunuing education credits
- Order, interpret, and supervise diagnostic testing
- Anaylze patient documentation
- Collaborate with care team to establish a plan of care, coordinate and implement care delivery
- Evaluate patient progress and make necessary interventions
- Engage in research and analysis of evidence based practice
- Document/dictate patient progress
- Certified Surgical Technician First Assistant (cSTFA), Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA), or Physician Assistant (PA) with CVOR experience.
- 1+ year of extensive Cardiovascular or Vascular First Assist Experience
