Vascular experience preferred.

Proficiency in Stress Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and IV Contrast is preferred, though training is available.

Overview
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing including, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler as well as noninvasive vascular studies.
Job Responsibilities:

Performs tests and procedures within the hospital.

Maintains accurate patient logs.

Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes vascular lab menus in the computer.

Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Degrees: Bachelor’s Degree in Sonography
-
Experience: 2-5 years
-
Supervisor Experience: None
-
Licenses & Certifications: RDMS and RVT or equivelent
Preferred Qualifications:

Degrees: Master’s Degree in Sonography
-
Experience: 5-10 years
