Libra Solutions is seeking a talented and ambitious person to work as a Capital Markets Senior Associate, reporting directly to the VP of Finance and will also have frequent interaction with the company’s CFO and executive management team. The Senior Associate position offers great experience and exposure to all aspects of growing a private equity backed company. (Parthenon and Waterfall are the two sponsors.) This position will gain a deep understanding of a complex capital markets structure and help guide the company’s liquidity positioning, which is the lifeblood of the company.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop scenario based financial and liquidity models to assess sensitivities of various capital structures on liquidity positioning, cost of funding and growth capacity which would inform Libra’s long-term capital market strategy
• Optimize Libra’s capital market stack via analyzing and proposing alternative structures to optimize short and long-term liquidity to meet the Company’s growth expectations
• Identify and establish relationships with new lenders and institutional investors for Libra’s bank syndicate and securitization facilities
• Manage rating agency and investment bank relationships
• Design, document, and communicate new fundraising structures and strategies including convertible instruments, warehouse, securitizations, and syndicated line alternatives
• Work with the Treasury team to develop balance sheet limits and governance to efficiently manage the firm’s capital and maintain minimum liquidity positions / optimizing cashflow
• Develop short and long-term liquidity / cash forecasts which would inform strategic decisions on investments and product structuring based on free cash flow projections
• Coordinate with the business GMs, Board and other stakeholders to develop new and financing structures for new products
• Design and manage loan performance metrics
• Attend relevant conferences and maintain relationships with key industry participants
• Share market color and investor sentiment with management and key stakeholders
• Contribute to Libra’s growth strategy, product roadmap, and performance tracking

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of capital markets experience either working at an Investment Bank, Commercial Bank or in a Capital Markets / Treasury team at a financial services organization
• Bachelor’s Degree required (Math, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting preferred)
• Strong financial modeling skill set and ability to navigate complex data sets
• Experience in leading securitization offerings, including developing presentations for rating agencies, institutional investors, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to see the ‘big picture’ and connect Company’s strategic plans with its capital structure
• Familiarity with various debt instruments including warehouse lines, convertible debt, forward flow, and securitizations
• Team player and partnership focused individual
• Solid Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and verbal communication skills
