Job description
We are seeking Sanitization Technicians to assist with the sterilization of a state-licensed Cannabis Facility.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to adapt and flexibility in a demanding/fast-paced environment
  • Communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Must understand and comply with the facility rules and standard operating procedures procedures
  • High attention to detail and time management
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (80 pounds with assistance)
Responsibilities
  • Equipment sanitization and sterilization as well as maintaining the facility's cleanliness.
  • Clean, mop, and wipe down dry rooms, flower rooms, etc.
  • Occasional use of ladders to clean ceilings, walls, equipment, etc.
  • Use of cleaning agents such as isopropyl alcohol and other chemicals. (PPE is provided)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
  • Responsible for preserving the good condition of the facility and ensuring that equipment and building are safe and well-functioning
  • Must comply with state regulations and guidelines
  • Ability to pass a background check required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills
  • Basic strain and plant structure knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of uses and benefits of cannabinoids preferred
  • A combination of the above shall also be considered
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be comfortable wearing a mask for duration of shift
  • Long periods of prolonged standing (10-hour shifts)
  • Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity
  • Ability to observe and assess the material that deviates from established company standards
  • Some crouching or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions
  • Requires occasionally, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Requires manual hand dexterity
Work Environment:
  • Long periods of prolonged standing, stooping, squatting, and repetitive motions
  • Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer
  • Occasional climbing of ladders
  • Cleaning using chemicals while wearing PPE
  • Must have clean pair of shoes to leave on-site and to change into upon arrival to avoid cross-contamination
  • Uniforms are provided and you would change into them daily
  • In wet conditions, water-resistant shoes are recommended
