Call Taker
Full Time Position (weekends and evenings may be required)
19.00 per hour
We're hiring Call Takers that will respond to non-emergency calls for the Ride to Care Program. This person schedules transportation requests and can provide clear communication and empathy in all situations to ensure quality support and care to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Call Takers will proficiently monitor and respond to calls and emails using established call handling time leveraging the communication and information management system to deliver excellent customer support to providers, facilities and member representatives.
- Use appropriate methods to schedule, assign, review and route transportation requests.
- Clearly document communications following protocols and processes, and properly identify and escalate issues as necessary.
- Effectively communicate trip data including confirmations, routing time, issues and performance.
- Call Takers will work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow coworkers.
- Successful Call Takers will demonstrate organization, multitasking and time management skills.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of previous work history in a call center or routing calls in customer service.
- Familiar with Microsoft products and experience managing multiple online systems.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to and give feedback, and work in a fast paced environment.
- Passionate about helping members of the community with compassion.
