Full Smile Management is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contact Center Representative. Job Summary: The Contact Center Representative is responsible for taking calls from new patients and answering any questions or concerns they may have. Key responsibilities include interacting with patients to gather required information in preparation for the new patient’s appointment.

Duties/Responsibilities: The Contact Center Representative is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new patients
  • Ensure all potential new patients are treated in a kind, courteous, and welcoming manner
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Gather, collect, and input information necessary to schedule initial appointments
  • Transfer incoming calls to the appropriate departments as necessary
  • Coordinate with clinics to reschedule new patient appointments when needed
  • Be able to recognize signs of a dental emergency and follow proper call-escalation protocol
  • Serve in an overflow capacity for other departments as needed
  • Effectively communicate and develop a strong working relationship and promote teamwork through cooperative and professional behaviors.
  • Be respectful of co-workers by keeping a well-maintained workspace
  • Conduct work in compliance with state, federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, FEHA, DOL & practice policies and practices)
  • Other duties may be assigned

Preferred Qualifications and Abilities:

  • Maintain punctuality and regular attendance
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with patients, families, doctors, and staff
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously and without error
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while also working closely with team members
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize multiple computer applications
  • Ability to successfully complete all required job-related training

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds
