A leading technology company is looking for a Calibration Technician - Day. The successful candidate will support our manufactured test equipment. The ideal candidate has calibration and repair knowledge of a wide variety of our equipment. The company offers a family-oriented culture and environment!

Calibration Technician - Day Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $25/hr
  • Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (Roseville, CA 95747)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 23 Month Assignment

Calibration Technician - Day Responsibilities:

  • Test, calibrate, assemble, and disassemble electronic instrument products to maintain functionality and accuracy.
  • Manage internal and external customer satisfaction through effective communication, innovation, and direct application of technical skills.
  • Work within the designated area of expertise to clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting field staff and customers.
  • Solve technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
  • Perform adjustments, calibrations, and basic repairs.
  • Escalate more difficult repairs to experienced technicians.
  • Provide consistent, solid contributions to team and service center delivery goals.
  • Maximize the use of existing assets, multi-task effectively, and ensure our resources are used properly (i.e. connector care, ESD, ETE).
  • Maintain high workmanship standards and deliver on commitments. Promote ESD, Service Note compliance, and other programs that are conducive to the delivery of high-quality service and minimization of re-repair.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. May initiate customer interaction as appropriate.
  • Escalate issues through appropriate channels when necessary. This is done verbally or via written correspondence.
  • Adhere to established production processes and is responsible for achieving established team production goals.

Calibration Technician - Day Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment. Prior experience is strongly preferred.
  • Some education, specialized training/certification, or Military experience.
  • Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, PC Based, METCAL, TME etc) is a plus.
  • PMEL/TMDE experience is strongly desired.
  • Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate electronic and mechanical competence.
  • Work with clearly defined objectives on customer service assignments that may be repetitive in nature.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of business ethics.
  • Exercise good discretion in the use of time and other resources.
  • Calibration and repair knowledge of a wide variety of our equipment.

Shift:

  • From 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
