What would it be like to be a Boyd Gaming Team Member?:
The Cage Manager oversees the daily cash handling and player services needs of the Casino departments and oversees the posting of all gaming activity.
Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Safeguard the assets of the company.
Implement the procedures and policies necessary to ensure that cash handling is performed within accepted standards established by management, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
Take appropriate actions with regard to all human relations issues of all staff, following appropriate company guidelines and relevant regulations and laws.
Attend to guests’ needs on a daily basis in order to keep guest satisfaction to its highest degree.
Oversee daily staffing and work requirements.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent understanding of accounting, gaming, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Understanding of policies and procedures as set forth by management and the Missouri Gaming Commission.
- Flexibility in work schedule, including hours, shifts, and days off.
- Minimum of one (1) year Casino Cage money handling experience and 3+ years of management experience.

- Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with departmental and team member issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Required Education and Work Experience
- 5+ years experience in Cage department and or management background
- College Degree preferred
