Job description

Qualifications: Minimum 1 year Solidworks (or equivalent) or certificate of completion for CAD/Drafting (may consider currently enrolled).

Job Responsibilities: Create/Revise/Maintain 3D CAD models/assemblies and 2D CAD drawings using Solidworks. Assist in the development and maintenance of engineering documents which may include, but not limited to: Bill of Materials, Part Specifications, Material/Coating Specifications, Work Instructions, Procedures, ECN’s, Design Reports, etc. Assist in the evaluation of prototypes, product development, and product improvement with a focus on casting quality and cost savings.

May require administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, analyzing data, creating reports, etc.

Preferred Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Highly Organized with Time Management, Written and Technical Communication, Reading Comprehension (of technical documents), Measurement Tools (calipers, indicators, micrometers, gages, pi tape, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
