Description:

Our client is with the Mortgage/loan industry and is one of America’s top-five non-bank mortgage-servicing companies. They are a Microsoft shop and have several years worth of projects. Their mortgage servicing application needs enhancements, new features, and bug fixes. It is a desktop application that is written in C++, SQL, and WinForms. They are adding 3 sprint teams to help with this initiative, so we need C++ and SQL developers with mortgage or loan servicing experience or similar environments like banking or insurance. This work is extremely important to the team and will help them meet the deadlines in order to get the application ready for the modernization project. Day to day this person will be working primarily in C++ making enhancements and bug fixes as well as utilizing SQL within the database and with Clarity reports.

Summary:

As a full-stack developer, the associate is responsible for front-end 20% and back-end 80% application development. This developer will sometimes perform and/or work with other associates to gather business logic and requirements, QA their code, and pass on to DevOps for productionizing.

Job Duties:

• Create quality, unit tested code based upon requirements provided.
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance existing software.
• Create and execute unit tests for code written.
• Test programs, manually or with automated tooling, in non-Production environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, BSA, and QA to identify, understand, and implement requirements and specifications.
• Comply with client coding standards, testing standards, and documentation standards.
• Follow client’s architectural patterns and requirements in coding.
• Have expertise in C++ on Microsoft platforms, and applicable experience in mortgage servicing industry
• 2-4 years work experience using advanced SQL
• Knowledge of relational database structures required
