As a Busperson at The Henry (overnight), you will juggle multiple responsibilities behind the scenes creating a personalized experience. Your accommodating personality and ability to balance needs of a diverse clientele will be a welcome support facilitating an operation that will surprise and delight guests during every stay.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Deliver prompt, efficient and courteous service to guests in accordance with established standards.
- Perform necessary tasks to service guests and assist in maintaining guests' dining area in a clean and neat manner.
- Follow sanitation and table maintenance standards for amazing guest service.
- Assist other employees with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.
- Adhere to established grooming and appearance standards, including maintaining a clean and well-maintained uniform.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- At least six months of experience in a bar, lounge, nightclub or full service restaurant.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Passionate about guest service and delivering the best guest experience each and every time.
- Ability to initiate conversations with others in a polished, professional manner.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, physically demanding environment.
- At least 18 years of age.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Prolonged telephone usage.
- Bending and reaching.
- Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 10 lbs.
- Eye/hand coordination.
- Use of standard office equipment.

- Ability to push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing up to 5 lbs.
- Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
- Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
