The Role

We are seeking a Business Systems Manager to help us to roll out Service Titan, various other systems, and processes to our branches currently across 4 states to ensure future scalability. This position requires an experienced professional who can determine the needs of the business and successfully implement solutions to amplify SPS’s mission of elevating the pool care industry.

The Business Systems Manager must exhibit a can-do attitude and approach work with vigor and determination. You must have a keen interest in being a part of a fast-paced growth organization and have the drive to learn quickly, lean in where needed, and be a bit of a perfectionist along the way.

To succeed in this role, you must be a strategic thinker with outstanding communication who is organized and collaborative and can adapt to and thrive in a dynamic startup environment.

The Day-to-Day

As a Business Systems Manager, you will:

  • Drive implementation and optimization of the systems and processes for the business
  • Actively identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver solutions that create efficiencies and add value
  • Manage and prioritize ongoing support, enhancements requests, and administration of the system (Service Titan)
  • Lead deployments of core operating system for new acquisitions. Including: identifying branch specific requirements, converting their data, training/onboarding their users, and deploying the solution
  • Maintain all systems training materials and user documentation
  • Manage and support data integration, data quality & integrity, error logs and updates
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity, problem points and compliance, while publishing progress reports to all

Business Owners

  • Build and manage reports and dashboard where needed
  • Address all organization wide requests on an Ad-hoc basis in a timely manner, with involvement of management
Requirements:

The Person

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of accounting, finance, computer science, systems management, business administration, information systems, or similar
  • 3+ years of Business Process Analysis experience or related managerial work experience
  • Preferred understanding of finance and accounting concepts
  • Experience working with or implementing various accounting software tools (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, etc.)
  • Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
  • Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills
  • Able to gather business needs and make technical recommendations while also being able to communicate business needs of stakeholders to technical teams
  • Motivated problem solver that’s able to start with identifying the issue, coming up with a solution, implementing the solution, and evaluating the effectiveness
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Effective communication and leadership skills

The Environment

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
