Job Description
Duties include:
- Collaborate with Department Administrator and Finance team to achieve set department goals.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Department leadership to facilitate faculty recruiting, department onboarding and exit processing.
- Coordinate and assist Faculty, Personnel, and the Research office to resolve day-to day issues that arise. Provide and implement operating processes by following the University’s policies and procedures.
- Assist Faculty with self-reported activities, such as, compile documents, that capture research, teaching, service, scholarships, and creative works within the University’s reporting system, myVita, in support of the annual evaluation process and Promotion and Tenure.
- Monitor Mission Based Management (MBM) Program which is an organizational resource that aids in strategic planning, discussions and decision making related to policies and planning.
- This position requires an individual who is organized; works well under pressure and can juggle competing priorities and deadlines. This position requires excellent communication skills. A grasp of the overall mission and objectives of the department within the School of Medicine is essential.
- The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively as well as independently. The ideal candidate must be able to work closely with other departmental and hospital staff, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, interact effectively with diverse personalities, have initiative and vision, and the highest level of professionalism.
- Duties subject to change as business needs arise.

Salary Range: $17.96 - $28.00

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
