Job description
This is a multi-role position. We are looking for a self-starter with leadership skills who has KS CNA Certification, great organizational and time management skills, and also understands the importance of quality of life for elders. Southwind at Spearville offers the opportunity to be a part of an innovative Care Partner team providing a new care approach to elders. Southwind at Spearville is a newly built Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living home.
Business Office Manager:
- General business office duties, answering incoming phone calls promptly
- Input of medical records into the Electronic Medical Record
- Collections of payments
- Experience preferred, but will train the right individual
Human Resources:
- Coordinates recruitment of employees
- Implements onboarding of new employees
- Assists in interpretation of employee handbook, rules, policies and procedures
- Administrates payroll processes
- Maintains onsite personnel files
- Experience preferred, but will train the right individual
Social Services Designee:
- Current KS CNA certification required
- Verify insurance benefits for potential residents referred for placement
- Coordinate discharge planning with interdisciplinary team
- Complete residents assessments in the Electronic Medical Record
- Complete and maintain resident inventories of personal belongings
- Experience preferred, but will train the right individual
Activity Director:
- Current KS CNA certification required
- Activity Director certification or ability to obtain
- Develops monthly activity calendar and assists with activities
- Coordinates the recruitment of volunteers for Activity Department
- Experience preferred, but will train the right individual
