The Business Intelligence Analyst IV has mastered the ability to identify and deliver on opportunities through the timely capture and synthesis of all relevant business information for the company and those competitors in the company’s space. This individual can utilize information gathered to generate actionable business insight. Responsible for managing the business intelligence (BI) front end development during a single project’s lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design and support of the business intelligence system.

What you will be doing:

• Complete source to target data mappings with detailed transformations to be used by developers in writing code
• Working with end user and department analysts to create dashboards, reports, and self-service data sources
• Write SQL to analyze, validate, or access data according to project requirements; may include complex stored procedures, views, and functions
• Measure and monitor data quality, review data issues, perform analysis and execute remediation plans according to company standards and procedures
• Training end users on the various BI Platforms which includes creating documentation and other training materials
• Perform review of deliverables and artifacts for projects and require any misalignment, quality, or compliance issues to be corrected
• Research, evaluate, and recommend software packages and solutions for purchase and deployment
• Participate in the hiring process as needed

What we need from you:

• Working knowledge of relational and data warehouse database concepts
• 7+ years’ experience in IT related role
• Strong working knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools such as Tableau
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to set or change priorities as needed
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

What we also value (preferred):

• Hands on experience with Azure Synapse
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience developing with Python
• Experience with agile or lean development
