Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst
Summary: The Business Intelligence Analyst will serve as a key member of the Corporate Accounting team, looking to delve deep into various data sets for the purpose of creating actionable intelligence and influencing strategic decisions of CHCP. This position will require working with multiple, large data sets and finding the optimal intersection that facilitates actionable strategic and operational insights. The individual is expected to work with the multiple levels of the Admissions, Marketing, IT, and Operations teams, to architect, build, and maintain analytics tools and provide timely and insightful reporting. Ability to leverage all corporate systems, including Velocify, Campusvue, MS Excel and other resources to facilitate design and development is also important. A successful candidate should have: solid experience in a data-driven information environment designing and implementing analytics insight solutions, innate curiosity and creativity to analyze data from multiple angles, strong interest in CHCP’s programs, admissions processes, and business challenges, ease to collaborate across different teams, robust ability to synthesize and articulate complex findings, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. .Since reports are used to make important business decisions, data integrity and reporting accuracy is critical. The reports must be reviewed and proofread to ensure accuracy, then swiftly corrected of any detected errors. Spend time working with large volumes of data and building queries and databases. All Business Intelligence Analysts must be comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.

- Accuracy: Displays high quality of work and level of accuracy
- Provide reports and information and routine advice, guidance and assistance to department heads using and or developing reporting and data gathering requirements, insights, and solutions including the application of policies, procedures, IT systems, and monitoring the performance of lead sources regarding the admissions process.
- Maintain all required reports current and accurate, including information stored in our system.
- Performance: Ability to help the Corporate Accounting and Finance departments with new and existing data modeling needs under the general direction of the CFO.
- Attend and successfully complete all training requirements for this position, as required by CHCP or designee.
- Work Schedule: Each Business Intelligence Analyst is required to work full time. Shift start and end times are subject to change due to business needs.
- Budget Model support- Provides and maintains the master budget files as created in collaboration with the CFO and other stakeholders.
- Financial Reporting Models: Assists the Accounting team in optimizing current and new financial reports to automate the export of data from Great Plains into User defined report formats.
- Provide reporting on daily, weekly, quarterly and annual basis of business information and insights from a variety of systems as needed.
- Data Analysis- Analyzing business data for problems and assessing solutions
- Database development- For reporting data
- Project implementation- Managing project development, monitoring and reporting on project status and issues
- Technical Specialist – Devise or modify procedures to solve information technology issues
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

- Prior Experience with data modeling, business reporting, and process analysis.
- Specific experience with Great Plains Management Reporter, Power BI, and/or Sequel Reporting Services preferred
- Demonstrated ability to fulfill Company Key Characteristics
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to work assigned/flexible hour’s necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis. There may be times in which work will be required outside of normal business hours to include evenings and weekends at times to meet the business needs.
- Excellent presentation and follow up skills.
- Ability to speak and write in a business/professional manner.
- Ability to travel as required to implement, train, and assess business requirements.
Education: BS degree in Business, MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or other quantitative discipline. MBA preferred.
