BI JD:
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst who has strong technical skills with both front and back-end programming. You are responsible for developing and designing dashboards, reports, automated jobs, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside business stakeholders.
- Participate in all stages of the SDLC, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
▪ Design and develop reliable, scalable, and testable applications, ETL (Extract, Transform and
Load) tools, scheduled jobs and database components
▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams with diverse technology backgrounds.
▪ Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and end-users
About your skills
- Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics,
Analytics, Economics or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years working in business intelligence, insights, analytics, extract, data load, and transformation.
- Experience with developing Business Intelligence solutions, reports leveraging Power BI technologies and tools
- Experience with data visualization techniques and tools using Power BI, Matplotlib, Plotly framework (web-based visualization), etc.
- Experience with developing advanced SQL (Vertica, Hive), relational databases (MySQL,
SQL), and EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse)
- Working experience with Python, data analysis packages (Pandas, Numpy, etc.), or other equivalent modern programming languages
- Primary skillset:- Power BI, Python, Pandas, Numpy, Plotly Framework, Presto, SQL Query,
SSIS, Excel, Airflow Jobs Framework, GIT, BitBucket, SQL Server, and Kubernetes.
- Secondary Skillset:- Hive, HDFS (Hadoop File System), Data Lake, Mapper/Reducer, Tableau,
Azure Cloud, PowerPivot, any ETL tools.
- Nice to have o Database Skills: MySQL, Vertica, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), or equivalent data warehousing o Monitoring & Instrumentation:- OpsGenie, Slack, CatchPoint, SumoLogic, Nagios,
Grafana, Graphite.
- Familiar with Software best practices for developing external and/or internal customer- facing applications.
- Ability to Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Curious, self-driven, agile, willing to learn new tools and technologies, willing to embrace changes
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in CI/CD is a plus
- Experience using a ticketing system such as JIRA
- Experience using a source control tracking system such as GIT or equivalent
- Experience with agile software development
Responsibilities
- Design, build, launch and maintain reliable business intelligence solutions that provide insights across the organization and cross-functional global teams
- Providing reports through Power BI applications to improve business processes
- Analyzing business requirements, processes and recommending solutions to the management and executives for implementation
- Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user manuals for the organization
- Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability
- Build ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) tools from diverse databases and dynamic reports to further enhance the data insights for stakeholders.
- Automate analyses and authoring data pipelines using SQL, SSIS, Python, Airflow,
Kubernetes based ETL framework
- Apply expertise in data visualization and visual storytelling to build business intelligence solutions that deliver actionable insights with high-performance and usability
- Intelligently design data visualizations that focus on usability and ease of interpretation
- Implement inclusive data quality checks to ensure high quality and build trust in the dashboards and analytics
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, cross-team engineers to identify data sources, build scalable data models, and operationalize the data analytic
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,723.00 - $131,682.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
