General Description: The Business Development Executive will create and build publisher relationships to extend the reach of the Newsmax TV Feed. This role assists in developing and facilitating the process to develop a publisher network, including prospecting, cold calling, negotiating and account management.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Source and prospect for websites where Newsmax TV Feed can be displayed
- Use email and telephone to reach out to prospects to schedule proposals – Cold Calls
- Onboard prospective Newsmax TV Feed publisher websites
- Meet prospecting and website requirements and goals
- Prospect websites in target categories including content, news and politics
- Identify, qualify, call on, establish and manage long-term business relationships
- Present the value proposition of a partnership with Newsmax editorial content
- Work collaboratively to identify payout and preferred placement of the TV feed on site
- Continually build a strong sales pipeline of well qualified publisher opportunities
- Work collaboratively with support personnel and across departments
- Utilize company CRM tool to track all sales activities and communications
- Manage and maintain sales reports, pipelines and forecasts
- Monitor and verify site placement regularly
- Run monthly reports to verify payment to publishers and accounting
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- 1-3 years’ experience in a sales, marketing, or business development-related position preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of professionalism when interacting with both internal and external clients
- Independent self-starter capable of managing and prioritizing multiple time sensitive projects
- Ability to handle high pressure situations and interact at all levels with diplomacy
- Ability to make decisions and adapt to changing work situations and ability to grasp new ideas
- Strong computer skills including advance knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to work in office – AS THIS IS A 100% IN-OFFICE POSITION.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
