With a focus on our Core Values of Integrity, Internally Driven, Fun and Respect, the Business Development Manager - Life Sciences will be responsible for working towards new Full-Service Provider agreements and complex staffing models in Clinical Operations, Clinical Trial Management, Data Management and all FSP solutions.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Identify accounts which have the potential to become key accounts
- Visit new and existing clients with the objectives of establishing relationships, broadening our understanding of client requirements and educating clients on TotalMed services
- Schedule meetings with new prospective clients
- Prepare and submit proposals in response to client requests
- Generate opportunities for repeat business with key accounts
- Develop business development strategies that align with TotalMed’s core focus
- Demonstrate commitment and behavior aligned with the philosophy, mission, values and vision of the company.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
- 3-5 years Business Development experience within a CRO and or clinical trials environment
- Experience across CRO, FSP and staffing business development and the ability to understand the differences in sales cycles and customer interactions
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as necessary.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move throughout office environment.
- Continually observe information/data both on paper and electronically at a close range/distance.
- Continually operate computer and other electronic office equipment.
