Role Overview:

Fully remote and the candidate must live in the US. Part time position, 25-35 hours per week.

At Capitaliz, the business development manager actively oversees the front end of our marketing and sales funnel.

The primary deliverable is attracting and connecting with new exit planning, wealth advisory and M&A advisor leads.

The secondary deliverable is nurturing our prospect database and setting up appointments for our sales associates.

Other duties include overseeing and tracking all outreach activities for the company, including, webinars, cold call campaigns, conference activity follow-up, digital outreach, and social media campaigns.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Managing our pipeline of leads and prospects in HubSpot
  • Marketing our monthly webinar to our prospect list
  • Build out our lead database using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other digital prospecting tools.
  • Communicate and follow up with webinar guests
  • Booking Zoom sales calls for our sales manager
  • Collaborating with our marketing agency on social media activity

Work Environment:

  • 95% of our work is remote, spanning three countries and multiple time zones (USA, Canada, and Australia)
  • Our operating time zone is MST, as our head office is moving to Denver, CO.
  • We hold a Zoom or Teams meeting each morning at 8:00 PST for all staff to ensure any barriers to success are removed.
  • During the day we use Microsoft Teams, Slack, and email for team communication.
  • We use HubSpot to track business performance.
  • We work flexible hours that match our lifestyles (start early and end early, or start late and work late.)
  • At Capitaliz we focus on completing our daily work so our team members and clients are continually supported.
  • We operate in a professional industry and dress the part when client-facing, but our day-to-day work environment and culture could be described as “westcoast” and business casual.

Job Qualifications:

Education & Work Experience

  • College or University
  • (Beneficial) Marketing degree, business degree, video editing

Work Experience

  • Experience in the financial services industry is not required but would be great benefit to the role

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay
