Business Development Executive
Job description
Position Summary
We are looking for an energetic Business Development Associate to join our team! As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for conducting market research, monitoring and growing the business development pipeline and assisting with proposal development.
Essential Functions of the Position
- Assist in identifying and nurturing strategic partnerships that open new markets.
- Assisting with proposal development and working with the business development team to help the company find new growth opportunities.
- Monitoring the business development pipeline and helping to ensure that it remains full.
- Work on various projects such as proposal preparation, office management, and business communications.
- Work with Department Leads to identify and manage company risks that might prevent growth.
- Provide timely ideas and other support to ensure consistent progress towards achieving business development goals.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to increase team efficiencies.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.

- Can work independently to develop approved opportunities or resolve the need.
- Ability to research, collect and analyze data; possess excellent reporting skills.

- Must have excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Must always maintain high level of confidentiality.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
Physical Demands
- Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time.
- Must be physically capable of performing assigned tasks.
- The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and bend for extended periods of time.
Work Environment
- Noise level can range from minimal to intense in a cubicle environment.

Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient in using MS Windows, PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Publisher.
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat DC.
- A background in research, writing, or marketing is strongly desirable.
- Possess a Valid Drivers’ License without special restrictions.
- Must have clear and compelling communication in a group setting.
