MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

On site location and travel in state- local on site- Torrington CT

Part time- 25 hours per wk – potential for full time position

The Marketing and Business development coordinator is responsible for working directly under the supervision of the CEO and Clinical Director to develop and implement strategic strategies for growth of the company. Foresight is essential and requires establishing the company's long-term objectives. Workplace policies and procedures must be understood for the oversight of the operations director to be successful.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s) establishes company's long-term objectives. This role will have working knowledge of the workplace policies and procedures to provide oversight of the operational workflow of center and in home services. Oversee business procedures through the company’s expansion plan; this role will be expected to review financial statements, direct budget planning, improve profitability, and maximize employee efficiency. Foresight is essential and required to establish the company's long-term objectives; develops proven methods and oversees this plan with oversight.

The Marketing and Business Development Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:

This position will provide a business plan for the expansion of services. Will provide forecasting and implementation as departments grow. This expansion effort will be communicated effectively to provide insight to CEO and Clinical Director.

SCOPE OF WORK

Must understand and work within the system before changes are made

Business Development responsibilities

· Forecasting revenue and associated expenses monthly in line with revenue goals

· Creating and implementing acquisition plan tailored to the individual property market and core demographics

· Generating new business models and negotiating contracts- local and statewide

· Partnering with state affiliations to increase census and program development    

· Promoting platform program opportunities to, and fostering relationships with key partners

· To understand budgeting and participate in the allocation of the marketing budgets, managing optimization and adjustments

· Managing data input and use of software systems in place as related to our current census

· Establishing and maintaining local media relations by fielding media calls and drafting responses

· To be responsible for developing relevant, distinctive and motivating marketing strategies and campaigns to achieve targets

· Support assigned industries by developing strategic growth plans and tracking plan progress

· Build momentum in the market through smart use of multiple marketing tools and marketing communication tools in collaboration with the entire team

· Leading as well as Supporting business Meetings

· Initiate integrated marketing campaigns in coordination with marketing shared services organization

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Responsible for interacting and establishing relationships with administration, and other relevant professionals and business associates, and
  • Develops strategic alliances with schools, birth to three and neurological practices.
  • Execute effective sales calls/meetings that identify and meet the needs of the referral partners, including pre- and post-call planning, establishing rapport, good questioning skills, proposing solutions, handling objections, driving referrals, and converting them to admissions.
  • Educate the community on components of our ABA practices and our organizations services and programs using effective sales calls and literature.
  • Execute weekly and monthly goals of increasing market share through account development of both existing and prospective referral sources.
  • Achieve monthly personal production goals.
  • Responsible for all sales administration duties including, but not limited to logging activity into system, weekly meetings with tactical/strategic updates, paperwork.
  • Delivery of timely cell phone and email correspondence
  • Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and regular marketing meetings.
  • Assists Coordinators with coordination of care and timely admission of any/all incoming referrals.
  • Collaborates with Social Media marketing
  • Ensures that the expectations of the referral source and the needs of the patients and their families are being met.
  • Assists in identifying and resolving any issue, dissatisfaction, or problem that the referral source or the patient or their family is experiencing.
  • Triage issues with patients and family members, resolving them within scope of job or escalating them to the appropriate clinical or administrative person / department.
  • Complies with all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Skills of Marketing and Business Development Coordinator * Highly Effective Communication * Problem-solving abilities that adapt to a variety of situations

* Plans, directs implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and cost of sales in each division to achieve financial objectives.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

* Should be able to explain a difficult situation clearly and thoughtfully to problem solve

EXPERIENCE

· Experience in Behavioral Health is a PLUS!!

· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/ Business Administration or related field preferred

· Above 5+ years of operations experience with more than 3 years of financial reporting experience Proficiency in MS Office suit

· Proficiency in MS Office suite

· Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities and lead and train teams

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

· Strong conflict management, negotiation and organization skills
