Overview
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills for a Business and Financial Analyst position to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA. Candidates must have experience with performing business and/or financial analysis (3+ years). The Business and Financial Analyst position will also require the following qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop budget estimates for DoD / Navy programs
- Provide analysis, forecasting, tracking, and reporting for the Government’s financial accounts
- Process, monitor, and track Government funding documents
- Execute funding requisitions to other Government agencies
- Provide analysis of funding risks and recommended mitigation strategies
- Develop program dashboards and financial report outputs to support decision making of DoD acquisition decisions
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering, business, math or the sciences
- Demonstrated experience in the following areas: financial reporting, budgeting, developing requisitioning, forecasting, and utilization of financial software
- Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a plus
- Experience with Integrated Budget, Planning and Execution System (IBPES) is a plus
- DoD Experience is a plus
- The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
