POSITION SUMMARY:
This office position supports Operations and will work to develop and maintain sound business process related to the maintenance, IT and financial divisions, and includes training Krapf Employees as appropriate. Will support various project initiatives and will update and/or maintain various analytic reports on a weekly and monthly basis and provide relevant feedback from those reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct and coordinate financial and operational research to support business planning
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information and evaluating output requirements and formats
- Improve systems by studying current practices and system capabilities
- Assessment of service, cost, quality and risk mitigation with customer base
- Assist with negotiating contract and customer agreements
- Build knowledge and experience in operations and staff management
- Develop and foster relationships within the company to drive consistent performance
- Develop and improve business and operational processes
- Manage assigned projects to appropriate conclusion
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports and analyses of current processes using operational metrics
- Understand and effectively communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
- Analysis and follow up with Operations Managers on open Accounts Receivable
- Invoice and revenue contract audit reviews
- Creation and maintenance of Customer Relationship Management database
- Analysis of annual customer/employee survey data
- Assist Area General Managers in developing action plans pertaining to survey findings
- Complete financial variance analysis
- Identify root causes of underperforming areas, make recommendations to improve financial performance
- Work with leaders to ensure run master documents are kept current and accurate
- Assist in the creation of location level budgets
- Participate in the development and implementation of the Dispatch, Billing & Payroll system across our school bus operations, and report to the appropriate Project Manager
- Provide project management support and assistance to the VP of Operations
- Support growth initiatives

Ability to positively communicate issues, problems, opportunities and concerns clearly verbally and in writing- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with close attention to detail
- Moderate to Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite and especially Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to function independently within established parameters and processes
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
- Ability to work cross functionally with necessary departments
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
