MAT Bus Corp. is a company servicing the Haverstraw-Stony Point Central School District. We are currently looking for Level A Mechanics to fill open positions; under general supervision performs preventive vehicle maintenance services and inspects, diagnoses and repair vehicles and equipment.

Full time, Part-time, and night & weekends positions available.
Pay rates are based upon experience and years of service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned and may vary by location.
· Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
· Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
· Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
· Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
· Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
· Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
· Assists senior technicians in the completion of project work.
· Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

· $1,000 Sign On Bonus (Bonus will be paid out in two sections. First portion will be paid after 60 days of consecutive employment, second portion will be paid after completion of 90 days of employment.)
