The Millennia Commercial Group is looking for experienced Building Maintenance Technicians to join our team at Key Tower in Downtown Cleveland.
Key Tower is the Premier Office Building in Cleveland, as well as an iconic landmark towering over the city at 57 floors of office and amenity space. The Building Maintenance Technician will assist with the daily operation, repair and maintenance of the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and life safety systems.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Regular inspections of equipment throughout the facility.
- Performs repairs, preventative maintenance and responds to emergency situations at various properties in the Greater Cleveland area.
- Basic carpentry, tile, drywall, and painting.
- Preventative maintenance of a wide variety of equipment. Ensure equipment operates at maximum efficiency.
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment as required.
- Adhere to all safety and OSHA regulations.
- Participate in in-house and off-site training as required.
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial facility.
- Must have completed an accredited College or Technical School program relating to the building trades.
- Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Universal Refrigeration Certification preferred.
- Clean driving record.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints.
- General computer knowledge.
- Able to interact with co-workers and the general public in a professional manner.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
