Ensures excellent guest services, books and services all buddy golf groups of 8 or more players, services sales golf groups without banquets, liaisons with other departments to ensure guest needs are met, acts as backup for reservation calls.

Essential Functions:

• Managing room reservations, tee times rooming lists, tee times, spa & recreation reservations, and billing for golf groups of eight or more guests
• Assist guests with any service needs
• Manage inventory programs with Resort Services staff to ensure accurate data is maintained.
• Assist as needed with incoming group and guest calls, including overflow, to maximize bookings and revenue.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the sales and front office areas, credit policy, different room types, and hotel services.
• Change and cancel reservations as guest requests. When canceling a reservation with deposit, complete an advance deposit refund requisition.

Knowledge and Skills:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Further education is desirable.
• Previous data entry and telephone experience.
• Must possess telephone communications skills in terms of the ability to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence potential hotel guests.
• Ability to operate a computer, and learn applicable software.
