The Sleep Inn & Suites Fargo Medical Center is looking to add a weekend breakfast attendant to our team. We are a small, clean, and quite hotel in South Fargo. We havew 62 rooms.

Job Summary:

• Our breakfast runs from 6:00a to 10:00a Saturday and Sunday "Weekend Shift".
• Start time is 5:30a, end time is roughly an hour to hour and a half after breakfast to clean/take down breakfast.

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for accommodating guests of the hotel by setting up, maintaining and breaking down the breakfast dining area. This position is responsible for making guests feel welcome, comfortable and well attended to at all times. Guests love our breakfast, and it can be quite rewarding having that positive interation with guests.

Must be friendly, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Reports To: The General Manager

Essential Job Functions:

• Greet arriving guests in a pleasant manner, making them feel welcome
• Ensure that the guest receives immediate and proper attention
• Promptly and effectively deals with guest requests and complaints
• Circulate throughout the dining room and ensure the dining area is kept clean
• Thank departing guests, and inquiring if food and service were satisfactory and invite guests to come back again, reporting any concern to the general manager or front desk staff promptly
• Properly stock and re-fill dining area with food, beverages, and dining accessories
• Preparing food orders, checking in food order deliveries (training provided)
• Checking food temperatures and expiration dates and labeling food dates/temps
• Ensure that all cleaning duties are completed every shift
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

• Reliable, responsible, and dependable
• Ability to multi-task and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management
• Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan
• Knowledge of, and ability to, appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures
• Prioritizes and plans work activities
• Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions
• Uses equipment and materials properly

Experience:

3 months related food service experience and/or training; or transferable skills
