Shermco U.S. is seeking a Breaker Shop Shipping & Receiving candidate
BREAKER SHOP SHIPPING & RECEIVING
Join our team of leaders in electrical power system testing, maintenance, repair, engineering, & training. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Shop Labor to help successfully and efficiently help run our shop in Minooka, IL.
Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Support Breaker Shop duties including but not limited to partial disassembly and parts cleaning
- Support Panel Shop duties including but not limited to panel fabrication and panel wiring assistance
- Support Shermco service offerings as assigned
- Drop-offs and pick-ups from various locations such as vendors, suppliers, project sites, equipment yards, and Shermco offices
- Shipping duties including but not limited to building crates, loading trucks via forklift, completing, and filing shipping documentation
- Receiving duties including but not limited to unloading trucks, reconciling receivables against packing slips, organizing project materials
- Update and maintain inventory of shop supplies and electrical equipment
- Support fleet requirements as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: to qualify for consideration, you must meet each of the following minimum qualifications and requirements:
- High School Diploma; some college a plus
- Experience in related positions is an asset
- A valid driver's license and a clean driver’s abstract
- Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office
- Physical fitness and mobility required to moving/lifting of shipments
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
- All offers are conditioned on acceptable results from a background check and drug and alcohol screening.
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, willingness to learn, work as a team player, and high degree of organization.
- Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English.
