Position: Location Manager- Full Time

Job Description:

Traction’s mission is to supply over 1,700 automotive businesses in the tri-state area with passenger vehicle and light truck tires. Many of our customers are independent, single-location shops who depend on Traction for accurate, on-time delivery

The Location Manager is responsible for ensuring drivers are dispatched every day on scheduled runs, inventory is replenished, and customer service issues are quickly resolved. The Location Manager will also work closely with the sales team to growth the revenue and profitability of their location.

This position offers a competitive base salary and benefits, with a bonus of up to 100% of base salary linked to their location’s performance.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the daily operations and management of our North Brunswick Location

Ensures Effective utilization of warehouse areas and optimal stocking of tires

Responsible for the coordination, scheduling, dispatching and planning of our delivery runs

Offer exceptional support to drivers to ensure that their professional needs are being met

Effectively meet delivery schedules

Manage customer and driver expectations to align with operational capabilities

Monitor performance and available hours of Fleet Drivers

Work cooperatively with customer service/sales to provide solutions for customers’ needs and resolve issues

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Self-motivated problem-solver with strong desire to get resolutions

Ability to present and maintain a positive corporate image in a fast paced environment

Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all departments

Skills:

Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment

High School or Equivalent (Preferred)

Prior supervising and dispatch experience is a plus
