Job description

Local company looking for a full-time Bookkeeper to join our unique team. Basic duties of the Bookkeeper position are:

Learn about how the business operates, to make bookkeeping improvements and understand each customer's needs

Collect vendor invoices and generate client monthly invoices (receivables)- this includes communicating with team members. Must maintain an ordered system for approval prior to sending invoices to customers

Collecting customer payments, making deposits, entering payments into QuickBooks

Collecting invoices from business vendors and entering them into QuickBooks

Generating and submitting vendor payments (electronic and check) based upon payments received

Reconciling company credit cards

Payment of company credit cards

Reconciling reimbursement receipts turned in by staff members and posting receipts and payments to QuickBooks

Maintain monthly income report for owners of company

Create new accounts in QuickBooks for new vendors and new customers contracted

Printing checks, as needed, obtaining owner's signature and mailing

Monthly reconciliations, as needed, throughout QuickBooks

Monthly operating expenses- enter invoices, generate payments and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks

Use and work within internal systems in-place

Must have QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel proficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
