ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records for BTi Log Home Care and affiliated businesses. This includes working closely with our accountant to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company. We are looking for an individual that takes ownership of their assignments, is committed to superior teamwork, and loves attention to detail.
RATE: Depending on experience
SCHEDULE: M-F, 20-30 hours/week, Remote hybrid or in-office

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate in person and in writing
- Quickbooks online experience
- Payroll experience
- Reliable vehicle
- Time management/self motivated/meet deadlines
- Flexible with required in-office days
- Professionalism
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in Google Suites
- Ability to learn new software quickly and troubleshoot software issues
- Internally motivated and work independently
RESPONSIBILITIES:
BOOKKEEPING:
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payableVehicle registration
- Bank reconciliations
- Quarterly tax filing & reports
- Payroll & payroll taxes
- Provide support to CPA for tax preparation
- Produce financial reports
- Manage purchase orders
HR:
- Onboarding new employees and benefits
- Contact for upcoming benefit enrollment dates
MISC DUTIES:
- Administrative tasks
- Ad hoc projects as needed
- Covering basic office duties as needed
