Bookkeeper Job Description:

PrideStaff Financial is working with a local business in Sacramento, CA seeking an experienced Bookkeeper. We are seeking an individual who has a strong work ethic, great time management skills, and is a team player. As a Bookkeeper, you will classify, record and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records. The Bookkeeper position is a full-time, temp to hire position with room for growth. If this is you, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Bookkeeper Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices for payments and record financial transactions
• Posting transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
• Posting payroll data and preparing routine reports
• Maintaining employee records
• Manage accounts using specialized software

Bookkeeper Requirements/Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Bookkeeping
• Thorough knowledge of basic Accounting procedures
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills while keeping high attention to detail
• Strong data entry and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Excel
• Quickbooks preferred
