We are seeking a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team in St. Cloud, MN.

WHAT DOES THIS JOB LOOK LIKE?

The BCaBA works with the Qualified Supervising Professional, the Supervisor, a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Interventionists to provide a range of ABA assessment and clinical services for children and adolescents with Autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, behavioral disorders and/or other related conditions. The BCaBA oversees programming for identified clients under the direct supervision of a BCBA. The BCaBA provides training to caregivers, and conducts behavioral assessments of clients and designs behavior and individual support plans for clients. The BCaBA is responsible for assisting with coordinating, scheduling, communicating and continually evaluating the effectiveness of functional assessments, behavioral evaluations, and behavior plans for clients on their caseload. The BCaBA maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the Clinic Manager/Assistant Clinic Manager.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A qualified individual will have the ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of DTT, PCES, and other ABA strategies -AND-

1. A bachelor's degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of child development, special education, psychology, or related field.

2. Certification from the BACB® or the ability to become certified as a BCaBA:

a. Accruing BCaBA supervision hours and a minimum of one years’ experience working directly with children with Autism and/or developmental delays -OR-

b. BCaBA certification and 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience that meets all registration, supervision and continuing education requirements to maintain certification

The BCaBA is required to adhere to the BACB’s Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts® as well as all regulatory and statutory rules in the state of Minnesota.
