The e3 Diagnostics division is the leading provider of Audiology equipment and service and is comprised of one central General Office and several dozen Sales and Service offices throughout the continental US.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Sales and Field Service Technician. This challenging position is ideal for someone who is good at fixing things, enjoys traveling, and direct contact with our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain customer relationships and provide unparalleled service and technical support
  • Perform calibration, maintenance, repairs, and installations on a wide range of audiology and biomed equipment
  • Perform software and firmware upgrades to existing biomed equipment
  • Meet or exceed all sales and service goals in assigned territory
  • Maintain accurate records of customer contact and equipment
  • Keep product knowledge current and attend all required training
  • Work with minimal supervision and is responsible for making an established range of decisions, escalating to management when necessary
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2 year technical or engineering degree, or related experience preferred
  • Experience speaking and/or selling to customers or medical professionals
  • Proficient in updating and troubleshooting software problems
  • Experience in networking and providing hardware support required
  • Must be able to obtain and keep certification through the National Association of Special Equipment Distributors (NASED)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to maintain clear driving record
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check as well as any customer-required screening requirements
  • Travel is required

Physical Demands

  • Repeated daily lifting of 50 lbs.
  • 80% travel – ability to drive for extended periods of time in company car to reach all customers in assigned territory; some overnight trips will be required
  • Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching depending on variables at customer location

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
