This Opportunity:
The primary responsibility of the Billing Supervisor is to provide oversight and financial supports to the agency by maintaining accurate account information for the people we provide supports and services.
What You'll Do:
- Review aged reports monthly and resolve issues relating to MCO for all services to include working denials/recoups and rebilling when necessary.
- Supervise finance billing and reimbursement specialists.
- Assist as needed in applying cash receipts.
- Key billing into the agency’s electronic billing system or outside agencies when necessary.
- Produce reports pertaining to billing, detailing status of unprocessed claims and other data as requested by the supervisor.
- Work with Senior Clinical Operations Directors and Regional Directors regarding denials and billing errors.
- Work with IT staff to resolve billing challenges.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required. Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements as needed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific job functions.
- Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
- Drive and Travel may be required.
