Job description

Ecommerce Shipping Clerk ensures customer receives accurate orders in a timely manner. Clerks will monitor merchandise leaving a company's warehouse and ensure all related documents, such as shipping documents, invoices, and purchase orders, are in order. Clerk ensures products are properly packed and organized for safe shipment. Clerks are also responsible for cleaning, organizing and labeling products in the warehouse and terminal areas.

• Responsible for processing tickets of goods to be shipped, maintaining all shipping documentation
• Coordinate pick up appointments for outbound shipments.
• Check in truck drivers and assign dock door in which trailer will be loaded.
• Pull work tickets, highlight important information, include instructions regarding the sequence of orders (Item/batches) to be pulled, and assign tickets to order pickers
• Print shipping and UCC labels for all Shipments.
• For Designated Shipments - contacts customer with routing information (i.e. Pallet count, weight - this function includes electronic routing PO request).
• Confirm load numbers, complete documentation in Oracle.
• Completed and attach bills of lading to purchase orders for product being picked up.
• Process packing slips for shipments
• Request shipping suppliers (paper, seals, labels, etc...)
• Turn in completed paperwork to customer service for filing
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
• Cross-Check open orders report with software to ensure accuracy.
• Interact with other departments, like customer service and sales if needed.
• High School diploma/GED required
• 1+ years of Warehouse Shipping in retail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
• Capable of working a consistent schedule
• Ability of lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours
• Must be legally eligible for Employment in the United States and pass a drug screen, reference and criminal background checks.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
